'Best seat' tickets for Cheap Trick at the Big E on saleDate: 6/9/2011 WEST SPRINGFIELD Cheap Trick, 70s music icons, will rock The Big E's Comcast Arena Stage on Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in a concert titled "An Evening With Cheap Trick."
The show is free and a limited number of the best seats in the house can be reserved for $25, which includes admission to the fair. Tickets are available now at The Big E Box Office, Ticketmaster.com and at charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
These power pop masters boast over 5,000 performances, 20 million records sold, and 40 gold and platinum recording awards. Ranked #25 in VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock," Cheap Trick are sometimes known as the "American Beatles" in Japan.
Cheap Trick is sure to please all ages with their variety of musical styles and irresistibly catchy hits such as "I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender" and "The Flame." Audiences may also recognize their voices from the theme songs to "That 70's Show" and "The Colbert Report."
The group has been together for more than 35 years and their newest release, "The Latest," highlights the true scope of their talents.
