Comic Adam Devine takes Mullins Center stage Feb. 17Date: 12/23/2014 AMHERST – Comedian and actor Adam Devine is coming to the Mullins Center Feb. 17 at 8:30 p.m.
Devine is best known as a co-creator, writer and star of the hit Comedy Central show “Workaholics.” In addition, he can be seen on Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party, which recently wrapped its second season.
Devine recently wrapped production on Nancy Meyers’ “The Intern” opposite of Anne Hathaway and Robert DeNiro, where he plays the head of the interns in the Warner Bros’ comedy about a 70-year-old widower (DeNiro) who enters an intern program. He also wrapped production on Sony’s “Final Girls” opposite of Nina Dobrev and Thomas Middleditch, as well as on Universal’s “Pitch Perfect 2,” where he will return as Bumper Allen, leader of the all-male campus singing champions.
Devine starred in the Universal comedy “Pitch Perfect,” which follows the competitive world of collegiate a cappella and also stars Anna Kendrick, Brittney Snow and Rebel Wilson. He can also be seen in his scene-stealing reoccurring guest star role as a nanny in ABC’s “Modern Family.” He currently voices the character of Pizza Steve on Cartoon Network’s “Uncle Grandpa,” and Boone on Disney’s upcoming animated show “Penn Zero.”
His sketch-comedy group, Mail Order Comedy, has headlined sold-out comedy shows all over the nation. Devine acts, writes and produces all of Mail Order Comedy’s material, including “Workaholics.”
