Drama Studio to host 'Backstage Bash'Date: 4/28/2009 SPRINGFIELD - The Drama Studio in Springfield will host the "Backstage Bash" on May 1 at the Melha Shriners located at 133 Longhill St. in Springfield. The evening's events will begin at 6 p.m. and will include ongoing entertainment by Drama Studio students, a light supper catered by Elegant Affairs and an incredible silent auction.
The silent auction will feature an African safari, vacation home packages, theater and concert tickets, several Boston Red Sox packages (one with special tickets that include a VIP tour of Fenway Park and a visit to batting practice), sports memorabilia and much, much more!
John Robinson will emcee the evening and we encourage everyone to come join us for a fun-filled evening and support the Drama Studio, the only conservatory style theater program for adolescents in the Greater Springfield area.
All proceeds from this event make student productions possible and fund the Drama Studio scholarship program. Tickets are $20 each with discounts for additional tickets purchased. A list of auction items is available and will be updated frequently at www.dramastudio.org. Proxy bidding is available for anyone interested in placing a bid on an item but is unable to attend. The Drama Studio is a not-for-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
