Good Lessons from Bad Women
Celebrate Women’s History Month with this special lunchtime event in downtown Springfield.
In this devilishly funny one-woman show, our lead character, Dorothy, wrestles with the concept of goodness and dives deep into a world where good is bad and bad is good.
Instructed from childhood by her mother to be a “good girl,” Dorothy wonders what might be on the other side.
This exciting event is scheduled for March 13 at 12:30 p.m. at City Stage and is sponsored by Baystate Health and Health New England. Tickets are $20, and member price is $15. Prices include a boxed lunch.
Best of Boston Comedy Festival: Irish Edition
This talented group returns to CityStage on March 14 with the Best of Boston Comedy Festival Irish Edition as part of the Bud Light Presents Stand Up Comedy Series.
Performers include king of Boston Comedy Steve Sweeney who has appeared in “Something about Mary,” “Me Myself and Irene,” and on “Late Night with David Letterman;” Jack Lynch, a Boston Comedy Festival Favorite; Joey Carroll who has performed on Comedy Central; and Mike Donovan, Boston Comedy Legend, who has been featured on Best Dam Sports Channel.
The show is March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at City Stage.
Tickets are $27; member price is $23.25.
