Pope dominated season three of NBC’s hit show “The Voice” with incredible talent that stole the national spotlight. Seven of her performances on “The Voice” catapulted to the top 10 on the iTunes All-Genre Chart with “Stupid Boy” (Keith Urban), “Cry” (Faith Hill) and “Over You” (Miranda Lambert) hitting No. 1.
Following her stint on “The Voice,” Pope began work on her debut solo studio album “Frame By Frame,” which was released Oct. 8, 2013. The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard U.S. Country Charts and featured her breakthrough single “Wasting All These Tears.” The hit reached No. 1 on the iTunes Country Chart less than 24-hours after its live debut and has since received platinum certification. The track also had a 34-week run on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts peaking at No. 5!
The critically acclaimed “Frame By Frame” serves as a crossover from Pope’s Pop-Punk past with the band Hey Monday. Although it is not an easy feat, the 24-year-old singer has received wide praise for her transition into the Country music world. Her impressive work on Frame by Frame snagged her a nomination for Best Album and Best Female Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards. Additionally, she was received the Breakthrough Video of the Year award for “Wasting All These Tears” at the CMTs on June 4.
Since embarking on her solo career after the announcement of Hey Monday’s indefinite hiatus in 2011, the West Palm Beach native traveled North America on a solo acoustic tour and performed alongside Rascal Flatts on their Live and Loud Tour. Pope recently toured Canada with Dean Brody on his Crop Circles & Tractor Beams Tour and is currently supporting Tim McGraw on his Sundown Heaven Town Tour.
Pope’s label, Republic Nashville, recognized her potential from the moment she stepped onto “The Voice.”
“Cassadee simply has it all!” Jimmy Harnen, said label president, said. “Phenomenal singer, incredible stage presence, an endearing and charming personality ... she’s a star!”
Chis Janson, Boston Globe’s Act to Watch in 2014, will bring even more energy to The Big E stage as the opening act for the show. The multi-talented singer/songwriter is a compelling performer whose music embodies a strong Country and Hard Rock influence. Recently, Rolling Stone Magazine named him a must-see act at the CMA Music Festival. He has collaborated on tracks with a wide range of musicians, toured with the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams, Jr. and penned hit songs for other artists, including Tim McGraw’s “Truck, Yeah.”
