Wistariahurst Museum hosts annual galaDate: 5/22/2014 HOLYOKE – On June 6 from 7 to 10 p.m., join those at Wistariahurst Museum for the organization’s annual fundraising event for the continued vibrancy of the museum and to raise a glass in celebration.
This year, Wistariahurst is taking the festivities outside to enjoy the beauty of the restored gardens. Put on some evening summer attire, bring your dancing shoes and take pleasure in the historical landscape and breathtaking gardens and grounds Belle Skinner worked so attentively to sculpt.
On the menu will be delectable fare prepared and served by Blue Heron Restaurant and Catering.
Eight to the Bar will entertain with the sounds of swing jazz.
A cash bar will be available along with a signature cocktail in addition to exclusive Wistariahurst champagne flutes.
A large portion of the evening will be dedicated to silent and live auctions that will offer art for many budgets, outings to area attractions, dinner at excellent establishments, fabulous gift packages for wine connoisseurs, yarn lovers, weekend gardeners, and more.
Tickets are $35 for members and $40 general admission and can be purchased online at wistariahurst.org or reserved by calling the museum at 322-5660.
Donations are also being accepted for those who would like to contribute to the Annual Spring Gala but are unable to attend.
The event is sponsored by Historic Holyoke at Wistariahurst, HG&E, The Dowd Agencies, Treasurer and Mrs. Jon Lumbra. All proceeds directly benefit the museum.
