Hidden Cruise Bargains - Repo Cruises

Looking for a unique cruise experience at a bargain price? We have the answer for you a repositioning cruise.

In the fall, cruise lines have to move their ships from Alaska, Europe and New England/ Canada, to the warm Caribbean waters for the winter season. In the spring, they do the reverse.

Rather than send their ships to these destinations empty, they offer the one way sailings to passengers as a repositioning (repo) cruise.

These cruises tend to be longer in length than your typical cruise, averaging 10-20 days, often include unusual port combinations, and even more days at sea. To many people, this is one of the perks of booking a repo cruise. The extra days spent at sea means an even more relaxing vacation. You can sleep late in the morning, spend a leisurely day at the pool, book spa appointments, or just relax and read a book on your balcony. Another advantage is that the per day cost of the cruise is usually quite low.

Consider the following cruise that we have recently obtained group space on. This is a great bargain. It is on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas (one of our favorite ships), sailing out of Boston on Oct. 28, 2008. She will have 5 relaxing days at sea, and scheduled stops in the popular ports of San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Aruba. The cruise ends in Miami, and one way flights from Florida to Boston or Hartford are usually very reasonable. The cruise rate starts at $769.00 per person, double occupancy (plus tax).a home run itinerary at a home run price!

Call us for info on this and other repositioning cruises, but keep in mind that you have to reserve these early. Repo cruises are very popular and the best spots sell out early.
