Veteran's Day Promotion Provides Discounted Rates to Military Personnel and Their Families

One thing that seems to surprise people is that The Cruise Store is much more than meets the eye. We own numerous websites. For example go to your computer and type in www.MilitaryCruises.Com and one of our top rated sites pops up. We get calls and emails from our troops in the Middle East and Afghanistan, as well as honorably discharged Vets all over because of the great cruise deals they get for serving our Country. In honor of Veteran's Day, The Cruise Store and our travel partner Carnival Cruise Lines are offering a promotion throughout the month of November that allows active and retired military personnel to book up to three Carnival Cruise staterooms for themselves and their friends and family members at special discounted rates, starting as low as $189 per person.

Reservations must be made between Nov. 1-30, 2007, to qualify for this promotion, which is available in conjunction with a wide range of three- to 12-day Carnival Cruises sailing through Dec. 31, 2008.

Rates start at $189 per person for three-day cruises from Miami, Fla., and four-day cruises from Long Beach, Calif.; $249 per person for five-day cruises from Mobile, Ala., and Jacksonville, Fla.; $279 per person for four and five day cruises from San Diego, Calif.; and $399 per person for seven-day cruises from Miami.

Vicki Freed, senior vice president sales for Carnival said in an email sent to The Cruise Store that "Veteran's Day is a time that our country honors the sacrifice and service of our military personnel and Carnival is doing its part by providing exceptionally attractive rates to our men and women in uniform". The Cruise Store is happy to partner with Carnival in this promotion.

This Special Offer is valid for individual bookings only, capacity controlled and not applicable with any other discount offer. The US military personnel or Veteran must provide proof of service during the reservations process. Certain other restrictions apply. Contact The Cruise Store at 525-9001, visit our site at www.MilitaryCruises.com, or stop at the store in East Longmeadow next to Dunkin' Donuts Monday through Friday from 9-5, or Saturday from 9-1.

Carnival has a fleet of 22 "Fun Ships" operating three- to 16-day voyages to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, New England, Bermuda, Europe, the Greek Isles and South America. The line currently has three new ships scheduled for delivery between now and 2011. We will be one of the first in the US to be onboard the new Carnival Freedom next month, and can offer first hand information on just about every Carnival ship.
