Irish heritage celebrated

The Irish Cultural Center of Western New England (ICC) was the recipient of a special framed presentation of the stamp to commemorate the 100th birthday of President John F. Kennedy on July 14. West Springfield Postmaster Michael Giza  presented the framed stamps while ICC Board member Jeanne Ahern looks on. Irish Consul General Fionnuala Quinlan and ICC President Sean Cahillane explained the importance Kennedy represented to the Irish.
