LUDLOW — Members from the community, including the Ludlow Police and Fire Departments, gathered on Monday, Sept. 11 to remember and honor those who sacrificed and lost their lives after the tragedies that took place 22 years ago. Speakers included Fire Chief Ryan Pease, Police Chief Daniel Valadas, Veteran Services Director Eric Segundo, state Rep. Aaron Saunders (D-Belchertown) and Board of Selectmen member Derek DeBarge. The event took place at the public safety complex where there is 9/11 memorial which includes a 10-foot long piece of steel from the North Tower.
