Bohn, Nonnamaker to receive ‘Dream Wedding’Date: 12/29/2016 EAST LONGMEADOW – MARX entertainment has announced its winner for the company’s annual MARX Dream Wedding Giveaway. MARX, along with dozens of participating vendors, will be awarding a United States veteran or active service member a free wedding for the second year in a row.
After reviewing the top three finalists for a month, the Blue Ribbon Committee, consisting of state Sen. Eric Lesser, state Rep. Brian Ashe, Elaine Stellato from Smith & Wesson and Craig Swimm from 94.7 WMAS are proud to announce Steve Bohn and Amber Nonnamaker as our MARX Dream Wedding Winners.
Bohn is a Purple Heart recipient from Afghanistan who was injured by a suicide bomber back in 2008 while serving with the 101st Airborne Division, 1/506 Infantry regiment. He was born and raised in Salem. Nonnamaker is an Air Force staff sargeant and Iraq veteran. They met while playing “Call Of Duty” on Xbox.
This couple will receive a wedding ceremony at Chez Josef in Agawam on April 20 and the rehearsal dinner at Center Square Grill in East Longmeadow on April 19.
