    WEST SPRINGFIELD Moving from a three-day to a four-day event, the 6th annual WestSide's Taste on the Common will kick-off on June 9, offering residents of West Springfield the chance to enjoy a variety of foods from local restaurants, 30 hours of music, a cruise night and other special events.

    The annual event is hosted by the West Springfield Rotary Club and the City of West Springfield. Westbank is the lead corporate sponsor. Bertera Car and Truck Dealerships and AAA of Pioneer Valley are the day sponsors.

    A variety of other local businesses will sponsor the talent performing at the 2005 Taste.

    For the fourth year, a Cruise Night will be part of the Taste.

    On June 10, local auto enthusiasts who own a special interest, classic or antique vehicle are encouraged to display their cars.

    Car owners are asked to set up between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The event will take place on the Common across from the Senior Center on Park Street. Cars will be displayed until about 9 p.m.

    Judges will choose four Best in Show winners, who will receive gift certificates.

    In the event of rain, the Cruise Night will take place on June 11. For more information, call George Kelly at 736-5697.

    This year, the Taste hours are:

    June 9 from 4 - 9 p.m.

    June 10 from 4 - 11 p.m.

    June 11 from 11a.m. - 11 p.m.

    June 12 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    The food vendors and items of this year's Taste include:

    Armen's Gourmet Endings gourmet nachos with chili, assorted gourmet cakes and chocolate chip cookies

    Ben & Jerry's walking sundae, Ben's Giant Shake(milk), Big Scooper in a cup/cone

    B'Shara's Downtown Deli veggie wrap with chicken, veggie wrap, mini cordon beef Sandwich

    B'Shara's Restaurant W.S. london broil grinder, sausage and pepper grinder, cheese cake

    Italian Pavilion of West Springfield fried dough, sorbet, pretzel

    Debbie Wong's Restaurant - Tso Chicken/Pork Fried Rice, seafood rangoon , egg rolls

    E.B's Chicken Place boneless chicken wings, twister fries, chicken marsala over penne pasta

    Hofrahaus beer battered shrimp, grilled German sausage

    J.J. Soft Serve soft serve oreo cookie sandwich, hard ice cream cone, hard ice cream sundae

    Mamma Mia's Pizzeria chicken/broccoli and ziti, slice/pizza, cheese and pepperoni, meatball grinder

    Pintu's Restaurant TBA

    Thai Taste Restaurant garlic chicken on a stick, Pad Thai/garlic chicken, veggie fried rice/chicken cashew

    Villa Napoletana slow roasted pork, artichoke francais, chocolate dipped strawberries

    White Hut hamburger, hot dog, fries.
