White Hut Kitchen to host five-day grand opening celebration
Date: 6/12/2014
LONGMEADOW – White Hut Kitchen (WHK), 791 Williams St., will celebrate its grand opening from June 18 to 22.
While offering their classic White Hut hamburgers and hot dogs, the Longmeadow location will also showcase brand new menu items such as The Big Joe Stack of Pancakes, a freshly prepared corned beef sandwich and chopped salad, and soft serve ice cream desserts – all offered during family-friendly business hours.
The newest location in the White Hut family opened its doors to the public on April 7. WHK owners and brothers, E.J. and Bobby Barkett, look forward to offering the expanded menu in this new location and especially catering to the morning crowd as one of the only dine-in breakfast restaurants in Longmeadow.
The new location will serve as an extension of the well-known White Hut name, which was established 75 years ago. As long time residents of Longmeadow, both Bobby and E.J. agree this new location “just makes sense.”
The company boasts a spot on CNN’s list of the “10 Burgers You Must Eat This Year,” Thrillist’s “33 Best Burgers in the Entire Country,” as well as countless honors as the Advocate’s “Best of the Valley.”
WHK also offers traditional deli sandwiches and salads, a full breakfast menu, and desserts, so that WHK customers may now enjoy a sit-down meal at any point in the day. During the grand opening celebration, WHK will offer a variety of daily specials to its customers.
With the grand opening of WHK, the Barkett brothers are once again proud to carry on the White Hut legacy, and look forward to offering their customers great experiences when visiting WHK.
The Longmeadow location is open seven days a week and can be reached at 754-3770.
