Date: 8/15/2022
It’s a first for the Reminder Publishing family. On Aug. 28, Prime, The Reminder’s sister publication that specializes in stories and information for readers 45 years of age and older, will be hosting its first-ever Expo at MGM in downtown Springfield!
This one-day experience, called the Prime Living Senior Expo, is slated for the second-floor Aria Ballroom at the MGM Casino, 1 MGM Way. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking, of course, is free.
Bringing together the best in local and regional information to help attendees make the most of their life in pre-retirement and retirement, the Expo also promises to be fun and entertaining, with a free morning yoga class, and an afternoon show by the Cameo Club, performing arm of the Ms. Senior Massachusetts Pageant.
The current 2022 Ms. Senior Massachusetts Queen, Debbie Peixoto, will also be appearing at the Expo to pose for selfies, sign autographs and talk about the pageant experience with interested attendees.
“We are excited to host an event that connects people with resources in the community aimed at enriching the lives of those ages 55 and older,” said Gretchen Halasi-Kun, director of human resources and business development for The Republican, Reminder Publishing’s affiliate company, which is organizing the event. “We have a great selection of exhibitors who are looking forward to answering questions and sharing about their offerings. It should be a fantastic event!”
