Springfield JCC to offer summer drama campDate: 4/30/2015 SPRINGFIELD – Drama Camp for third through eighth graders is being offered this summer at J Summer Camps at the Springfield JCC, 1160 Dickinson St.
This year’s play is “The Big Bad Musical,” which tells the story and trials of the legendary Big Bad Wolf.
The session runs June 29 to July 24, with a performance on July 23, 6:30 p.m.
Director Tony Jones will help thespians develop their acting skills, voice quality and understanding of the dramatic arts.
“This year’s Drama Camp will be a mix of theater games, ensemble building exercises, and of course, drama,” Jones said. “We will work together to create a production that incorporates many life skills and lessons, as well as prepare your children for work in the theater community. It will be zany, fun and rewarding for everyone.”
