SPRINGFIELD – A. Boilard Sons Inc., a local family owned and operated supplier of quality building supplies since 1936, announced they will be sending donations using the “Boilard Boom Truck” in support of the ROCK 102 Mayflower Marathon Food Drive benefiting the Open Pantry Community Services of Springfield.

The annual food drive kicks off on Nov. 25 with the goal of filling three 48-foot trailers with non-perishable food items that will be donated to families in need over the holiday season. Donations can be delivered directly to Boilard in advance of the scheduled program launch date, at 476 Oak St., in Indian Orchard, and at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame beginning Nov. 25. The Mayflower Marathon Food Drive has been a holiday tradition for almost 20 years and is hosted by ROCK 102’s Bax & O’Brien who will be broadcasting live for 52 hours as donations roll into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

“We are a third-generation family owned and operated business,” Mike Boilard of A. Boilard Sons Inc., said. “As we are blessed to have the support of the Springfield community we want to do our part to help the families that have helped us grow for generations.”
