Ad Club takes first place in National Club Achievement Competition

SPRINGFIELD " The Advertising Club of Western Massachusetts took first place in the program category of the American Advertising Federation s (AAF) Club Achievement Competition. The achievement awards are presented annually to AAF member organizations that display exceptional accomplishments in club operations.

Sixty advertising clubs entered the 2008-09 national competition, and 297 entries were received. The entries were judged by association professionals outside the AAF. There are five divisions of competition and clubs compete, based on size. The Ad Club of Western Massachusetts received first place honors for the quality of its programs in division III, clubs with 100 to 249 members.

We raise the level of advertising, marketing and communications by enriching our members experience through a series of monthly events and programs that add value and remain relevant to our ever-evolving industries.

All winners will be honored at a luncheon at the June AAF national conference in Washington, D.C.
