| ENFIELD The 39th annual North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Home & Product Show will take place March 14 - 16 at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield. This year's sold out event will showcase more than 85 exhibitors from throughout the entire North Central Connecticut and Western Massachusetts regions. The show will feature goods and services for the entire home. While Mom and Dad are searching for that special item, the kids can visit with the "Good Neigh Bear," "Rocky Raccoon" and "Herbie the Hydrant." Again this year, the Big Red Dog and the Big Blue Monster will be making an appearance to hand out candy and balloons on Saturday and Sunday. Home Depot will be having the popular "Kids Workshops" on Saturday and Sunday. New for this year, the Easter Bunny will be visiting the show Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. to hand out candy. Bring your camera for an excellent photo opportunity. Dana Daunis, Ms. Connecticut, will also be at the show again this year on Sunday from noon to 4:30 p.m. Co-chairs Fran Walenta from Allied Community Services and Norman Gagnon from Rich's Oil & Comfort Heating and the Home Show Committee have spent numerous hours preparing for another exciting show. The show hours are Friday, 5 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Everyone attending the show will be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing taking place Sunday afternoon. Among the items in the Grand Prize drawings are a new washer and dryer donated by Carl's Appliance, a Golf Foursome with carts donated by Crestview Country Club, a Gem Collection Area Rug valued at $800 donated by Rockville Bank and Golf Foursome with carts donated by Twin Hills Country Club. Once again, there will also be a "paint can" raffle with items supplied by many exhibitors and Chamber members. Outside on display will be a fire truck and a storage facility unit. The Evinrude Spyder will be debuting at the show, please a nice variety of cars and boats. Our major sponsor this year is Rockville Bank.
