| LONGMEADOW At the recent annual meeting of the Bay Path College Board of Trustees, Richard B. Steele and Dr. Steve Y. Lee were elected trustees. Steele is managing member of Longmeadow Capital, a New England based venture capital firm. Since assuming this position in 1993, he has been actively involved with each of the firm's principal investments, including development of golf communities in South Carolina; management of the largest cable television provider in Poland; and the establishment of a private equity fund focused on later-stage middle market companies. Prior to founding the firm, he held senior management positions at Chase Enterprises based in Hartford. Steele received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. A member of the Young President's Organization and River Valley Investors, he resides in Longmeadow with his wife and four children. He serves on the board of directors of Baystate Medical Center, and on the board of investors of Glenmeadow retirement community. Lee is director of emergency room radiology and the assistant diagnostic radiology residency program director at Baystate Medical Center, where he has been a member of the medical staff since 1999. He also serves as clinical professor of radiology at the Tufts University School of Medicine, and on the board of directors of Radiology & Imaging, Inc. based in Springfield. Lee received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed postdoctoral training at Baystate Medical Center and Yale-New Haven Hospital. At Baystate he currently serves on a variety of committees, including radiology education and research, graduate medical education, and academic faculty improvement, as well as the physician advisory group. Lee is a member of numerous professional societies and has received Radiological Society of North America certificates of merit for his education exhibits. He and his wife reside in West Simsbury, CT, with their two children. |
