Bay Path to offer free women's leadership seminar Oct. 25

Date: 10/18/2010

LONGMEADOW -- Exploring strategies to develop a meaningful personal mission and execute a relevant career is the focus of Bay Path College's One-Day-A-Week Saturday Program's women as leaders career seminar, "Leading Forward: Women's Stories from the Frontline." The seminar will take place on Oct. 25 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Breck Suite, Wright Hall, 588 Longmeadow St.

The event is free and open to women who are seeking career advice, networking opportunities, and leadership skills.

Either in the workplace, at home, or in their local communities, women have the innate ability to become leaders and take charge of their lives.

Bay Path's Women as Leaders program will feature several successful women, such as College President Carol A. Leary, who will share her story on leadership development and Bay Path Provost and Vice President for academic affairs Melissa Morriss-Olson. A panel presentation of accomplished professionals and Bay Path alumnae will discuss their career advancement and take audience questions related to leadership roles in various environments. Attendees will also have an opportunity to network during roundtable discussions, where they can share their experiences and knowledge and gain valuable insight from their peers.

Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Registration is required by Oct. 20, and seating is limited. To register, contact Kellee Grucci at 565-1161 or kgrucci@ baypath.edu.
