Buffalo Wild Wings to host fundraiser for youth sports

CHICOPEE – To the delight of hungry and thirsty local residents, Buffalo Wild Wings will be opening a restaurant at 490 Memorial Drive.
   
Franchisees Martti Matheson and Aaron Miller (15 year NHL veteran and Olympian) are excited to open the doors to the folks in the Chicopee area. The restaurant will open to the public at 11 a.m. on Aug. 18. The restaurant will host a charity fundraising event Chicopee youth sports Saturday night prior to opening to the public.
   
“We are passionate about youth sports and we make it a priority to get involved when we enter a new community,” Matheson said.
   
A feast for all the senses, the new Buffalo Wild Wings features more than 60 flat screen TV’s and three projection units for the ultimate sports viewing experience. The restaurant will carry all major sports packages, as well as PPV UFC fights. Its boldly flavored menu includes boneless wings; specialty burgers and sandwiches; finger foods; wraps; salads; and Naked Tenders, which are non-breaded, all white meat chicken tenders lightly seasoned and served with a choice of one of 21 Buffalo Wild Wings signature sauces and seasonings. However, the main attraction is Buffalo New York-style chicken wings. The menu also offers 30 beers on tap and other bar beverages.
   
“We want to become the neighborhood gathering place,” Matheson said. “Buffalo Wild Wings is a restaurant where guests can pull their tables together, watch sports on TV and share good food and good times.”
