Builders host safety expo

The Home Builders Association of Western Massachusetts will be conducting its first Work Safety Expo on June 14 from 4:30-6 p.m. in is rear parking lot at 240 Cadwell Drive in Springfield.

Several vendors will be on hand to demonstrate the proper usage of various safety equipment. Members of the HBA of Western Massachusetts are invited free of charge and non-members will be charged $10. Pre-registration is required from all attendees. Food and beverage will be provided at 6 p.m. after the safety demonstration.

As a company owner, you will not want to miss this great opportunity to learn how to improve your job site safety. This is a great opportunity to bring your employees so they can be educated on how they can individually increase their own work safety. Improving work safety measures on your job sites can result in fewer accidents and/or a reduced chance of being fined for safety violations. Be sure to join us for this worthwhile and educational event.

The Home Builders Association of Western Massachusetts is a non-profit trade association with almost 700 companies representing professionals in the residential construction industry. Their goal is to promote integrity in the residential construction market, as well as educate the consumer on how to hire reputable contractors. The association produces the "Original" Western Massachusetts Home and Garden Show which is held each year in March. The association serves Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire counties.
