WESTBOROUGH — Accessing essential information and paying a bill — whenever, wherever — has never been easier. The new mobile website from Columbia Gas of Massachusetts gives customers service and safety information, secure payment options and more.

“Our customers are increasingly ‘on the go,’ and they need easy and convenient ways to do business with us,” Columbia President Steve Bryant said.

“Our new mobile site allows customers to communicate with us no matter where they are,” Bryant added.

Customers accessing ColumbiaGasMA.com on any mobile device will automatically be redirected to the new mobile site. The site works with iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets and other mobile devices. Clearing the cache on the web browser may help some customers ensure that their device goes to the mobile site.

The site can also be accessed directly at m.ColumbiaGasMA.com.

Safety information is a key feature of the site. Customers can learn the warning signs they might smell, see or hear that could indicate a gas leak. The “Safety Center” also includes information on carbon monoxide.

Phone links make it easy to call to report a gas emergency or to “call before you dig” quickly with just one touch.

The site also provides account information and secure bill payment options. Customers who have registered their account online can log in to view their amount due and payment date, as well as make a payment free of charge.

Customers can also make a payment by credit or debit card if they have their bill or account number with them. The site also uses GPS (if available) to locate the nearest walk-in payment location.
