For the second year the employees of Phillips Insurance Agency hosted dress down Fridays for Charity. Employees donate $5 of their own money each month to dress down on Fridays. The money is saved in a charity fund and this year the staff has decided to donate the funds to the Shriners Children's Hospital. Shriners provide free treatment to thousands of children nationwide. These are treatments many of these children would go without if it weren't for the Shriners.
Joe Phillips, President of Phillips Insurance Agency Inc., matched his employees' donation dollars bringing the total charitable contribution to $1,337! Phillips and his staff will continue their philanthropic efforts in 2008.
