Electrical Code & Osha Training

The Center for Business and Technology at Springfield Technical Community College has partnered with the George W. Gould Construction Institute of Burlington, MA and will conduct both the 21-hour Electrical Code Review and the OSHA 10-hour Construction courses at the College.

The 21-hour Electrical Code Review class conforms to the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Electricians requirements for mandatory continuing education and also fulfills requirements for Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

The OSHA 10-hour Construction program is designed to allow participants to comply with the new OSHA requirements and will cover the following major topics:

How to use the OSHA Standard CFR part 1926 handbook

Areas of major concern with the intent to reduce accidents at the site, saving time and money.

All participants will receive a copy of the OSHA Standard CFR Part 1926 handbook and a certificate and OSHA card will be given to each participant successfully completing the program.

Space is limited in both of these programs and pre-registration is required. Interested individuals can call the Center for Business and Technology at 755-4225 or 755-4501 to enroll or to request a copy of the detailed brochure.
