Harrow named outstanding CSR of year

CHICOPEE The Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives (CISR) and the Society of Certified Counselors (CIC) have announced that Rosemarie (Romy) Harrow is the 2006 Outstanding CSR of the Year recipient for the state of Massachusetts.

To qualify for this top state honor, Romy submitted the winning essay on the topic: "Three Great Ways for a CSR to Build Good Relationships with Company Underwriters," and has demonstrated outstanding service and professionalism within the insurance community.

Romy Harrow, a licensed broker since 1998, began her insurance career in 1978. She has been associated with the Phillips Insurance Agency in Chicopee, Massachusetts since 1996. Throughout her career she has served in many capacities: File Clerk, Personal Lines Dwelling Fire Rater, and Commercial Lines CSR. She was a member of the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) from 1982-1985. In 2001 Harrow attained her CISR designation.

"Outstanding CSR of the Year state award winners are the standard-setters who represent superior customer service within the insurance community," stated William T. Hold, CIC, President of The National Alliance. "Romy was chosen as a state winner for exemplifying the characteristics and qualifications required to be eligible for the prestigious National Outstanding CSR of the Year Award."

Romy is now one of 34 individuals eligible for the national honor. The National Outstanding CSR of the Year Award carries a cash prize and a scholarship for the recipient's employer to any program offered by The National Alliance.
