Sheriff Michael Ashe Jr. has announced that Robert Hoffman has been elevated to the position of Chief Deputy of the Hampden County Sheriff's Department Process and Warrants Division, which serves documents for the courts, attorneys and private citizens with matters before the court. Hoffman has served as a captain in the Process and Warrants Division since 2005. He is also a deputy in the Hampden Count Sheriff's Department Law Enforcement Division. Hoffman is a graduate of Cathedral High School and Boston College.
