Dr. Kowalski began his career at the College in 1973, teaching courses in quantitative methods and computer information systems. He became an assistant to the president in 1976, and served as dean of the School of Business and professor of quantitative methods from 1979 to 2006. Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Kowalski led the School of Business's successful effort to achieve accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, the premier accrediting agency for business programs throughout the world. With 27 years on the job, he is believed to be the longest serving dean of a business school in the country. During the retirement celebration, the College announced the creation of the Dr. Stanley Kowalski Jr. Endowed Scholarship.
