| SPRINGFIELD The law firm of Doherty, Wallace, Pillsbury and Murphy, P.C. will hold a Premises Liability seminar on Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. in the theater at the Basketball Hall of Fame on Columbus Avenue. The seminar is intended for a business audience and is not open to the general public. Interested parties must register in advance for the seminar by e-mailing the firm at rsvp@dwpm.com or by calling 733-3111 ext. 381. Presentations will include information on residential and commercial premises liability, security liability, premises liability for retailers, effectiveness of disclaimers, waivers of liability and no trespassing signage, and liquor liability. Members of the firm have developed a premises liability handbook, which will be shared with attendees. Several speakers will make presentations, questions from attendees will be entertained and refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the seminar.
