Liberty Tax offering free tax preparation to those who serve

WEST SPRINGFIELD To honor those among us who give back day after day, Liberty Tax Service is offering free tax preparation for certain members of the community each week in March..

"Whether working in the classroom or emergency room, protecting our neighborhoods or our country, these professionals work selflessly each and every day," Ray Maagero, franchise owner of Liberty Tax Service, said. "It's our honor to give back to these local heroes."

March 1: nurse, EMT and hospital workers

March 8: teachers and school employees

March 15: police and firefighters

March 22: volunteers and non-profit organizations

March 29: military members and veterans.
