Bacon & Wilson, P.C. get five new attorneys SPRINGFIELD The Springfield based law firm of Bacon & Wilson, P.C. is pleasedto announcethe addition of five attorneys, two in Springfield, one in Westfield and two in their Northampton office. Kevin V. Maltby and Jeffrey I. Fialky have joined the Springfield office. Gary F. Bevilacqua has joined the Westfield office, and Bruce M. Fogel and Lisa L. Halbert have joined the Northampton office. Maltby is a former prosecutor for the Northwestern District Attorney's Office with extensive jury trial and court room experience. His practice concentrates on litigation, employment and family matters, and he also handles personal injury and product liability. Fialky is a member of the firm's corporate, commercial, and municipal departments. A former Assistant District Attorney in Hampden County, Fialky joined the firm after nearly a decade of holding senior attorney positions within some of the country's most prominent telecommunications and cable television companies. He has extensive experience in business, commercial, real estate, municipal, and telecommunications law. Bevilacqua's primary area of practice is real estate, both residential and commercial. He also does estate planning as well as banking and finance work. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Work Opportunity Center, Inc and a former Assistant City Solicitor of the city of Westfield. Fogel isa member of the firm's estate planning and elder, real estate and zoning and business and corporate departments. He has extensive experience in matters relating to income, gift and estate taxes, and he focuses on the tax implications of all legal transactions. He iscurrently a member of theCitizens Actions Committee, (Northampton State Hospital Reuse,) and alsohas been a solicitor forHampshire Regional YMCA, Clarke School for the Deaf, Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary and Hampshire County United Way. He is listed in Who' s Who in American Law. Halbert is a member of the firm's estate planning, elder and real estate departments. She is especially focused on matters relating to asset protection.
