PCNU mark re-opening of Granby branch

GRANBY — The Polish National Credit Union (PNCU) hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 24 to celebrate the grand re-opening of its Granby branch, at 34 West State St. The Granby branch, one of PNCU's busiest locations, has been completely renovated and expanded to double its original size. The location now includes a suite of private offices for mortgage originators and loan officers and a spacious lobby and expanded teller line. The six-month project was directed by general contractor Barber Associates of Ludlow.

Branch Manager of the Granby location is Lynn Trompke of Granby a 14-year veteran manager at PNCU. Jennifer Benoit of South Hadley is the assistant branch manager. Tellers are Ellen Byrnes of South Hadley, Andrea Donicz of Granby, and Laurie DuBois of Chicopee.

Founded in 1921, The PNCU is one of the largest credit unions in the Pioneer Valley. Headquartered on Main Street in Chicopee, the credit union operates full-service branches in Chicopee Center, Granby, Westfield, Southampton, Hampden, and a stand-alone Mortgage Center on Main Street in Chicopee. PNCU has recently received approval to merge with ValleyStone Credit Union, with locations in Wilbraham and Springfield.
