Pieroway to speak at WAC luncheon

SPRINGFIELD The World Affairs Council of Western Massachusetts will present P. Ann Pieroway, Western Massachusetts Program Director of the Massachusetts Export Center, on "The Weak Dollar's Silver Lining: The Impact of Exports on the Region's Economy" at an Instant Issues brown bag lunch time discussion on Sept. 22 at noon in the Sovereign Bank Community Room, 1350 Main St., third floor, in downtown Springfield.

The program is open to the public and the cost is $8 per person without a lunch and $15 per person with a meal provided. To make reservations or for more information call the World Affairs Council offices at 733-0110.

Pieroway is the Western Massachusetts regional program director for the Massachusetts Export Center and the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network. Based in Holyoke, she helps Western Massachusetts companies develop their export plans. In addition, she coordinates export programs and seminars in Western Massachusetts. Pieroway has over 20 years of experience, having owned her own apparel business and having held several senior marketing and retail positions. She holds an MBA in finance from Florida State University.
