Project Amigo founders to address Rotary Club

Susan Hill and Ted Rose, founders of Project Amigo, will address the Springfield Rotary Club's luncheon meeting on May 30. Project Amigo provides educational programs, scholarships and vocational training opportunities to over 200 disadvantaged children in Colima, Mexico.

A vacation in Mexico 24 years ago and a visit to a children's home turned into a life changing event for husband and wife team, Hill and Rose. A few years later, they sold their office equipment business in Eureka and moved to Colima, Mexico, to devote themselves full time to helping disadvantaged children learn skills and develop visions to improve their chances for a better future.

The Springfield Rotary Club meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. in the MassMutual Room at the Basketball Hall of Fame, West Columbus Avenue, Springfield, and is a proud member of Rotary International. The Rotary luncheon, with guest speakers Hill and Rose, is $17 per person and is open to the public.
