Ritter joins Attain’s Westfield office

WESTFIELD – Stuart Ritter joins Attain Therapy and Fitness as the center manager and senior clinician for the Westfield location at 65 Springfield Road.

Ritter has strong clinical and managerial experience in a variety of settings, which include both outpatient orthopedics and geriatric care.  His areas of special interest and advanced study include the treatment of patients with vestibular and balance disorders and post-surgical joint replacements.

Ritter has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy for over fifteen years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from American International College in Springfield. He continued his education at AIC where he was a member of the first graduating class with a Master of Science degree in physical therapy. Stuart also holds an Associate’s Degree in computer technology and electromechanical technology from Holyoke Community College.

Ritter enjoys getting to know his patients beyond their clinical needs. He believes that by developing a relationship trust is earned which ultimately, contributes to a successful physical outcome and overall positive patient experience. Outside of patient care, he enjoys volleyball (a B-rated player for USA Volleyball) and engages in coaching club volleyball. He is the boys volleyball coordinator for The Pioneer Valley Juniors.

Ritter is the father of four children as well as a Navy veteran. His sports background and involvement from a young age has carried over throughout his life. He has always enjoyed the camaraderie and benefits of teamwork. His goal is to continue to educate both himself and his staff in the most effective treatment approaches for the benefit of the Westfield community. He is looking forward to growing his reputation and creating lasting relationships. He joins an excellent team in Westfield consisting of highly trained and experienced physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, physical therapy aides and patient care representatives.
