Rotary luncheon to feature PGA Head Golf Professional

The Springfield Rotary Club recently announced that Hope Kelley, PGA Head Golf Professional at the Ranch Golf Club of Southwick, will be the Springfield Rotary Club's luncheon speaker on April 18. Her topic will be "Seven Steps To A Better Game."

Kelley has 15 years of experience in the public and private golf sector. She has been a member of the PGA since 1995 and in 1997 was the first female Head Golf Professional in the history of the Connecticut section. She was also the first woman to receive the Connecticut Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year for Public Facilities award in 2007.

Kelley, who resides in Westfield, won the 2001 Massachusetts Women's Open. In 2001 she played on the Futures Tour and in 2002 she caddied on the LPGA Tour. Her philosophy of using creativity and flexibility in the golf shop and a sincere interest in the needs of her customers have resulted in her success as an outstanding merchandiser.

The Springfield Rotary Club meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. in the Mass Mutual Room at the Basketball Hall of Fame, West Columbus Avenue, Springfield, and is a proud member of Rotary International. The Rotary luncheon, with guest speaker Kelley, is $17 per person and is open to the public.
