Service provider adds nurses

EAST LONGMEADOW Capuano Care, a home health service provider, headquartered in East Longmeadow, has announced the addition of two Registered Nurses to the Capuano staff.

Shalea Beckett, RN, of Indian Orchard is a graduate of the Nursing Program at Springfield Technical Community College. She is assigned to Capuano's Pediatric Home Care team, and will also serve on medical/surgical nursing assignments.

Carla Le Compte, RN, CFNP, has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1996 and will provide advanced clinical evaluations as well as consultations with other nurses and therapists of the Capuano Home Health Care team. She will also provide in-home evaluations to doctors for patients unable to conveniently reach a doctor's office. A resident of Easthampton, Le Compete holds a BSN, MSN, and certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from UMass, Amherst, and a Diploma in Nursing from Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She will also serve on Capuano's Pediatric Home Care team.

Founded in 1996, Capuano Care consists of two divisions: Capuano Home Health Care, Inc., providing Medicare/Medicaid Certified home nursing, physical and occupational therapy, and home health aide services; and Capuano Private Home Care, Inc., providing home health aides, case management, certified nursing assistants, and personal care homemaking, transportation and shopping services.
