Small business showcase slated for Oct. 14

Date: 9/20/2010

AGAWAM The Agawam Small Business Assistance Center (ASBAC) was launched in January, 2002, through the combined effort of the town of Agawam and Springfield Technical Community College Enterprise Center. The center fosters economic growth and client education by providing free professional counseling, workshops and other supportive services to area entrepreneurs who want to start or improve their businesses in Agawam and the surrounding communities.

Join ASBAC as we celebrate eight years assisting local small businesses. On Oct. 14, ASBAC's Small Business Showcase will take place at the Agawam Municipal Golf Course on Southwick Street from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Keynote speaker will be Paul J. Kozub, who started producing vodka locally in the basement of his home in Hadley, Mass., five years ago and went on to gain international acclaim for his V-One Vodka. Kozub will speak on the road to success and top off his talk with a free tasting of V-One Vodka.
