SPRINGFIELD The Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) Foundation has announced that its Major Gifts Campaign, "The Best Return on Your Investment," has received a contribution made by the Solutia Indian Orchard site, pledging $25,000 over five years to the campaign. Solutia creates performance materials that provide comfort, safety, security, durability and energy efficiency vital to our evolving world, and the Indian Orchard facility is a global leader in the production of Saflex interlayers for laminated glass. The Solutia donation is intended to support technology-based educational programs. The gift serves as a testament to the organization's commitment to education and to the economic growth of Springfield and its surrounding areas. The Major Gifts Campaign was a year-long initiative, set forth in order to help the college continue their tradition as a leader in technology and innovation. "We are pleased to help support STCC in its mission to provide the highest quality technology and health education programs for their students.
