STCC announces new classes

SPRINGFIELD -- The Center for Business and Technology (CBT) at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) has announced that Lee Ann Krusemark, a single mom (who had her lights turned out more than once), turned business entrepreneur, home owner, publisher, successful real estate investor, Chamber of Commerce past president and well-known southern California entrepreneur, will teach a number of workshop at STCC.

Seven Simple Steps for Financial Freedom; Meet the Publisher: Get Your Manuscript Critiqued; Beginner's Guide to Getting Published; Cash In with a Successful Home-Based Business; and How to Make Money with a Word Processing Business.

Due to this instructor's high demand, these workshops are offered only once a year in this area. Space is limited and interested individuals should call CBT at 755-4225 or 755-4501 to register of requested a copy of the detailed brochure.

CBT will also offer "Preparation for the Real Estate Exam," a state-approved course for those interested in becoming licensed real estate salespersons.

CBT at STCC also partners with the Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers (MBREA) to offer training to prepare individuals for a career in real estate appraisal.

Upcoming courses include: Basic Appraisal Principles, Basic Appraisal Procedures, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and USPAP Update.
