Toledo named to STCC Board of Trustees

Springfield Gov. Deval Patrick has appointed Hector F. Toledo of Springfield to the Board of Trustees of Springfield Technical Community College (STCC). Toledo, a Vice President and Director of Sales at Hampden Bank, is the first Hispanic to be named to the board in over 40 years.

Together with current Board of Trustee members, he will be responsible for the overall development of STCC and the STCC Regional Technical Park, including budget development and appointments.

Toledo is also a board member of the YMCA, the Western Mass Development Corporation, the North End Housing Initiative, Hispanic Resources Inc., Institutional Review Board at Baystate Health, serves on the Community Investment Committee of the Pioneer Valley United Way, and is a past president of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center.

A graduate of STCC and Westfield State College, Toledo, his wife and two children reside in Springfield.
