Gould Construction Institute of Burlington, MA and will conduct both the 21-hour Electrical Code Review and the OSHA 10-hour Construction courses at the College. NURSE ASSISTANT TRAINING COURSE Applications are now being accepted for the nationally recognized American Red Cross "Nurse Assistant Training" course. The course will be taught by Ray Pellegrini, a bartender with the Marriott Hotel for over 25 years. Emphasis will be on the proper preparation and presentation of a wide variety of mixed drinks. FLOWER ARRANGING The Center for Business and Technology at Springfield Technical Community College has announced that it will offer a Flower Arranging course that will include insruction and techniques for creating beautiful fresh flower arrangements. ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY The Center for Business and Technology has entered into an agreement with Kirkwood Community College of Cedar Rapids IA that will allow STCC to offer a wide variety of very resonably-priced on-line courses in terrorism, water treatment, hazardous materials, and wastewater treatment, and other environmental technology areas. These web-based courses allow busy professionals in the field to acquire new knowledge as the technology changes and to develop new skills at their own pace.
