EAST LONGMEADOW United Financial Bancorp Inc., parent corporation of United Bank announced it has opened its branch in East Longmeadow. East Longmeadow is a new market for United Bank. The branch, located at 94 Shaker Rd., will complement United Bank branches located nearby in Springfield and Longmeadow. "East Longmeadow is a natural extension of the bank's footprint," Richard B. Collins, chairman, president and chief executive officer, said. "We are pleased to offer residents, businesses and commuters traveling along Shaker Road convenient access to our banking products and we look forward to meeting all of their banking needs." The branch will be staffed by Personal Banking Officer Nicole Skelly and her team of banking professionals. A commercial lending officer and business development officer will also be working closely with the East Longmeadow team to develop and expand on existing business banking relationships in the area. Skelly brings with her over 10 years of banking experience. She will be responsible for building new relationships with both businesses and retail customers within the East Longmeadow area. She is an active member within the community, volunteering her time for causes such as the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Cheryl A. Pesto joined United Bank as assistant vice president and cash management officer. With more than 25 years experience in the banking and financial services industry, Pesto will be responsible for providing businesses in the East Longmeadow area with custom tailored solutions to their banking needs.
