United Bank promotes two

WEST SPRINGFIELD — Richard Collins, president and CEO of United Bank, recently announced two promotions in the bank's residential lending department. Underwriters Danielle Drapeau and Marlene Conlin were both promoted to the title of bank officer.

Drapeau joined the bank as a senior residential mortgage underwriter in 2008, with 16 years of related experience gained at National City Mortgage in West Springfield and prior residential mortgage underwriting positions with Heritage Bank for Savings and Charter Home Mortgage. She is a South Hadley resident.

A Monson resident, Conlin joined United Bank's finance department in 1986, and moved to the mortgage department as a processor/closing representative two years later. She has served as an underwriter since 1993.
