WNEC offering session on 'dealing with red tape'

SPRINGFIELD The Western New England College Law and Business Center for Advancing Entrepreneurship will offer a free information session on "dealing with government red tape" on Feb. 14 from noon until 1 p.m. at the Scibelli Enterprise Center located at 1 Federal St. in Springfield. The session is free and open to the public.

The session is designed to teach business owners how to comply with government regulations and overcome regulatory hurdles in order to take their business to the next level. Presenters include Steve Adams, regional advocate with the United States Small Business Administration, and Carol Moore-Cutting, owner of Cutting Edge Broadcasting and WEIB-FM 106.3.

The Western New England College Law and Business Center for Advancing Entrepreneurship was established to provide graduate business and law students with an opportunity to offer practical consultation to entrepreneurs starting new or building existing small businesses in the community.
