WNEC to host money conference

SPRINGFIELD Western New England College will host the Money Conference for Women on March 24 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the College's main campus.

The conference is presented by State Treasurer Timothy P. Cahill and the YWCA New England Regional Council.

The Conference is free, however, advance registration is recommended by visiting www.themoneyconference.com.

The Conference will focus on money management, investment and retirement strategies for women of all ages and economic backgrounds. Workshops are geared toward particular financial issues which women face, including insurance coverage, investing, homebuying, planning for retirement and how to start your own business. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a "money mentor."

Free breakfast, free lunch and free childcare will be provided. The Conference is made possible by underwriters Lehman Brothers and UBS.
