| Curves of East Longmeadow located at 632 North Main Street is promoting "Support our Troops" for the month of August. They have a raffle consisting of various items, three tickets for $1. The money collected will pay the postage to ship the packages. If you have a loved one or know of someone and have their address, please bring it in and they will receive one of the boxes. Curves this year has collected for many local charitable organizations such as: The Food Pantry - 516 pounds of food; St. Jude Children's Hospital - $800; Breast Cancer Awareness - $300; and is now collecting items for our troops (list is available). Members are donating the items to fill the boxes and they in turn will send to as many names brought in as possible. |
