Noble adds member to cardiology team

WESTFIELD Dr. Yufeng Zhang has recently been appointed to the cardiology staff at Noble Hospital.
Zhang, a board certified cardiologist, is one of three Pioneer Valley Cardiology physicians, as well as Dr. James T. Buffum and Dr. Robert V. Chircop joining Noble Hospital cardiologist, Dr. Mehdi Pajouh who are now scheduling appointments for new and existing patients preferring to be seen at their new location in the Cardiac Center located in the hospital, 115 West Silver St.
Zhang completed her medical degree at China Medical University, Shenyang, China. She also earned a Master in Medical Science from China Medical University, and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from St. George's Hospital Medical School, University of London, London, England.
Zhang is board certified in cardiology and in internal medicine, completing her residency in internal medicine at University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She completed a fellowship in cardiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
In addition to professional memberships with the American
Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Medical Association, Zhang is also an adjunct faculty member of Tufts School of Medicine.
