Noble Hospital sponsoring spring nutrition class

WESTFIELD On Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. at The American Inn, One Sawmill Park, in Southwick, Noble Hospital will sponsor a discussion with Kelly Slattery, chief clinical dietitian, RD, LD, at Noble Hospital.
Slattery will provide an overview of general healthy eating habits, focusing on elderly issues, including getting enough calcium, maintaining a healthy weight, keeping a balanced diet, and cardiac nutrition.
Slattery received her bachelor's of science degree in nutrition at Plattsburg State University in Plattsburg, N.Y. and completed her dietetic internship at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, Ill. She also attended Hofstra University at Uniondale, N.Y. for graduate studies in healthcare administration.
