PowerClean offers free Booiaka class

Date: 8/28/2013

EAST LONGMEADOW – PowerClean Fitness, 167 Shaker Road, will celebrate Labor Day with a free Booiaka (cardio dance) fitness class on Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Booiaka is a revolutionary system of teaching a class by using a repetition of steps in a progressive manner. Students learn a different routine every class while getting a heart-pumping cardio workout and a taste of different dance styles, all without needing any type of dance background. Booiaka is frustration free and will teach participants how to have fun, be confident, feel sexy, shake and groove.

Booiaka instructor Melissa Cote was a cheerleader at Chicopee High School, cheer captain at Springfield College, and then went on to coach and dance for teams in the American Hockey League and arena football. She has more than 16 years of cheer, dance, and coaching experience.

Shake those hips and burn off those calories with this free 60-minute dance party. Booiaka is the new dance workout taking over some Zumba die-hards.

PowerClean Fitness has the only Booiaka class in Western Massachusetts and Connecticut.
